Congratulations to Butler's April employee spotlight of the month, Mary Greenwood. Mary is our HR manager, she is also our Jill Of All Trades! She has been the Business Office Manager, staffing coordinator, CNA and transportation aide. Mary has been with the Medicalodges family for 14 ½ years.
She chose to work at the Lodge because she loves working with residents. The staff and residents are like a second family to her.
Mary loves reading, gardening, photography and scrapbooking. She is an open book, there is not much we don't know about her, but one thing we may not know is that she was the first born grandchild named after her Grandpa and Grandma “Mary Larverne”. Her Grandpa had her on a horse by herself at the age of 2 ½ .
A word of advice that she would give to her fellow coworkers is:
"when the stress gets to you ,take a breath and give it to God!’
P.S. Mary will be saying goodbye to her Lodge family at the end of this month! She will definitely be missed by all! Medicalodges of Butler appreciates all that you have done “Myrtle”, so congrats and wishing you the best of luck! ...

When you are among the very young at heart...you enjoy Easter goodies! Neosho residents celebrated their Easter Sunday with Sunday devotions and chocolate. Each one enjoyed a goodie bag with colorful chocolate candy, a milk chocolate cross, homemade cards and an activity book full of fun Easter themed things to wile away the afternoon. Happy Easter! ...
The residents at Atchison had a surprise visit from the Easter bunny on Friday The bunny and residents enjoyed the beautiful weather and porch visits with goodies from the bunny. Even the residents who stayed in their roo.s got a fun surprise outside their windows! ...
We spotted a little act of kindness in Neosho. Mr. Billy has been saying that he has been hankering for a ribeye steak and baked potato the past few weeks. It is all he has talked about to everyone who will listen. Nothing that the restaurants offered on DoorDash have appealed to him, nor did he think they would do a good service to a steak. When Tammy Holland did her grocery shopping, she bought him a big ole ribeye and cooked it just to his liking with a baked potato and the trimmings. Billy had a smile as big as that steak and he said that Tammy fixed it just right!
Please thank him for his service for me...
That's awesome, proud of you Cousin ❤️

Here comes Peter Cottontail, hoppin' down the bunny trail. Hippity, hoppity, Easter's on its way! Neosho had some Easter fun playing the Bunny Ear Toss. We partnered up and tossed some rings and had so much fun that it would have made Flopsy and Mopsy jealous. #easterfun ...
